Cookie Policy

1. The service does not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies.
2. 2.Cookies (so-called “ciasteczka”) are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored in the end device of the user of eurohermes.eu and are intended for the use of eurohermes.eu websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time of storing them on the end device, and a unique number.
3. The entity placing cookies on the end device of the Service User and accessing them is the operator of the eurohermes.eu Service: Eurohermes Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Żytnia 8, 41-200 Sosnowiec.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:  a) adapting the content of the eurohermes.eu Service web pages to the user’s preferences and optimizing the use of the web pages; in particular, these files allow to recognize the device of the eurohermes.eu Service User and properly display the web page, tailored to their individual needs;

b) creating statistics that help understand how eurohermes.eu Service Users use the web pages, which enables improving their structure and content;

c) maintaining the eurohermes.eu Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on every subpage of the eurohermes.eu Service.

Within the eurohermes.eu Service, two basic types of cookies are used: “session” cookies (session cookies) and “permanent” cookies (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until they log out, leave the website, or turn off the software (web browser). “Permanent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the User. The eurohermes.eu Service uses the following types of cookies: a) “necessary” cookies, enabling the use of services available within the Service, e.g., authenticating cookies used for services that require authentication within the Service;

b) cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect misuse in the field of authentication within the Service;

c) “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on the use of the eurohermes.eu Service web pages;

d) “functional” cookies, allowing the User’s settings to be remembered and personalizing the User’s interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, the font size, the appearance of the web page, etc.;

e) “advertising” cookies, enabling the delivery of advertising content to Users that is more tailored to their interests.

7. In many cases, the software used for browsing websites (web browsers) allows cookies to be stored on the end device of the User by default. Users of the Service can change their cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed, in particular, in a way that blocks the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or informs the User of each cookie placement on the User’s device within the Service. Detailed information on the possibilities and methods of handling cookies is available in the software settings (web browser).

8. The Service Operator informs that limitations on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Service’s web pages.

9. Cookies placed on the User’s end device within the Service and used may also be accessed by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service Operator.
